RIFAP

Description

Reservations for the RIFAP are made BY PHONE ONLY. Accessible from any level, it is however compulsory to obtain level 3. This is a highly complementary course, as it teaches you how to manage an accident from the moment you reach the surface. This includes removing the victim's equipment from the water, towing them in and getting them back on the boat. We'll also look at diving-related first aid: detecting a diving accident, knowing how to contact the emergency services, and being able to perform first-aid checks and gestures before reinforcements arrive. You will have one part at sea to practice scenarios in the water, then another at the center for the dry part. The RIFAP is generally completed in one day. The price does not include certification, which costs 50 euros. If you're not a FFESSM member, you'll need to take out a 50-euro license. ANMP certification is not required.
