Description

The Nitrox PADI training in Calvi teaches you how to dive using oxygen-enriched air containing up to 40% O₂. This PADI specialty is ideal for divers who want to increase safety, reduce nitrogen absorption, and extend bottom times without mandatory decompression stops. Nitrox is particularly appreciated for: - extending bottom time at depth, - reducing the risk of decompression sickness, - improving recovery between dives, - increasing comfort during repetitive dives. The course consists of 2 dives and an online theory module (e-learning). During the training, you will learn to: - understand the principles of Nitrox, - analyze an oxygen-enriched air mix, - set a dive computer in Nitrox mode, - respect oxygen-related depth and safety limits. Accessible to Open Water certified divers, this course is an excellent complement to fun dives, the Advanced Open Water course, or deep diving. 👉 If your last dive was more than one year ago, a refresher dive may be recommended before starting the training. ⚠️ Important Information The price does not include the online theory (e-learning) or the PADI certification fees, amounting to €150. These fees must be paid at the time of booking. It is strongly recommended to complete the theory before starting the dives. 📌 Practical Information Online booking applies to the first dive only.
